When she stepped into the GH music scene, we all welcomed and accepted her with open arms as ‘Bertha’, then suddenly a turn-around happened, yet in all this, we still love the new ‘Yaa Yaa’. She has that power in her voice and believe it or not, the sister isn’t taking any chances at opportunities as they come.
Before ‘Stars of the Future’, she was seen rocking the smaller stages, claiming ‘locale champion’ and waiting for the big bang, thus, now it is happening as she has appeared on almost all the big stages in the country doing what she is good at.
But come the 22nd of September, 2012, Yaa Yaa will be on one of the biggest stages of her career (for now, as more are to come), at the State Banquet Hall on the African Legends Night with Hugh Masekela, a man she describes as ‘an amazing definition of talent’.
