Imajin Advertising, organizers of the “Legends and Legacy Ball” seem to have a wow factor especially on this particular event. Even though the second edition which will be celebrating Highlife legend Amakye Dede is yet to come off this Saturday September 15, 2012, they are already making news.
Tickets for the event is selling at GHC70 and GHC140 for VIP at designated outlets and for the first time in Ghana one of Amakye Dede’s hit tracks; ‘Akwadaa Wusea’ has been imbedded in the ticket, it plays when the ticket is opened, then follows by his message welcoming patrons to the event ahead of Saturday.
Peacefmonline.com gather that the tickets are fast running out and it is obvious Ghanaians can’t wait for an exciting show with the showman who has proved beyond reasonable doubt that, he can rock any stage at any time, if he’s paid his worth.
Among other musicians who will be celebrating the ‘Seeeerrious’ man are; Afro Reggae show stopper Samini, Nacy of No Tribe, sexy Becca, Mr. Versatile Okyeame Kwame, Eazzy, Kwabena Kwabena, Daasebre Gwamena, saxophonist, Steve Bedi and special appearance by Ivorian music star Freddy Meiway will each perform songs from his repertoire.
He will be presented with a gold medal, a plaque, a citation and other awards in recognition of his hard work, success and contribution to the entertainment industry. He will grace the stage to climax the show as the man of the night.
