Steve Bedi is an ace saxophonist on the music scene in Ghana and one of the finest this country has ever produced.
He has worked with so many top-notch acts in Ghana and on international platforms like the Joy of Jazz festival in South Africa, Les Escales music festival in France, Ballanta music festival in Sierra Leone and other parts of Europe but nothing will be compared to the performance he will be putting up with the living legend, Hugh Masekela.
For a man Steve calls his ‘father’, having done something with him before, it was best I asked what he feels or know about him, this was what he simply said, ‘I call him a father…he is strict about his job, a cool and collective person. A true musician and a legend’.
Watch Steve Bedi speak on what you should expect come the 22nd of September, 2012, at the State Banquet Hall on the African Legends Night with Hugh Masekela. Enjoy…
