A Ghanaian commuter bus conductor (trotro mate) has got national attention after a video of him neatly-dressed in suit and tie popped up online.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the well-dressed trotro mate was seen sitting in his bus as it went round on a trip.
Answering a question on what informs his unique style of dressing, the young man stated that he wanted to break the stereotype that mates were dirty people.
According to him, due to his style of dressing, people sometimes tip him large sums of money just to encourage him to keep up with what he is doing.
The young man revealed that he learned his style of dressing from his driver, who also turns up to work in a suit and tie.
Currently, he has acquired a driver's licence and he is looking forward to getting his own car to drive.
