As part of its sponsorship package to celebrate Kundum Festival with the Chief and people of Lower Axim, Vodafone Ghana will hold a number activities including Healthfest, Vodafone Ghana Foundation’s free healthcare initiative, and a beach party on Saturday, September 13, 2014.
The beach party which will be held at Komba Beach, will feature some of Ghana’s leading hiplife musicians. Healthfest will be held at the Victoria Park to provide medical screening, medical advice and medication for specific diseases- all free of charge, to the people of Lower Axim.
Over 3,000 people in Greater Accra, Volta, Northern, Brong-Ahafo, Ashanti, and Eastern regions have benefitted from this year-long initiative, to date.
Other activities to climax the festival will include a regatta, Vodafone movie night, Kundum soccer finals and a durbar. The festival which started on 17th August will end with a thanksgiving service on Sunday, 14th September, 2014.
Three weeks ago, Vodafone presented a cheque of GHS20, 000 to the Chief and people of Lower Axim as part to its contribution to this year’s Kundum Festival.
