Vote against politicians who don’t plant trees – Okyeame Kwame

Musician, Okyeame Kwame has advised Ghanaians to desist from voting for politicians who abhor tree planting.

According to him, such individuals are the reason for climate change and should not be put into authority.

He made this known in a tweet advising Ghanaians on the need for planting trees.

"If a politician asks for your vote, ask him or her if they have planted trees or have #climatesmart plans for the constituency? If She scratches Her hair vote against Her. If He shows proof that He cares about #climatechange vote for them." He admonished.

Meanwhile the ‘Rap Doctor’ as he is popularly known recently called on religious leaders to stop scaring their members with hell-bound messages and focus on sensitising their members about environmental change through their sermons.

"If the churches will tell the congregants to plant trees, this world would be green." He Noted.
