Ghana's entertainment scene will be bombarded with an explosive programme line-up dubbed the West African Explosion For AIDS and Peace (WAFA&P) 2003 Variety Nite.
The 247 Ventures and AdSpace Limited are coordinating this unique entertainment event, which is packaged by the Celebration Nite Club Promotion.
The first of the three shows will be held at the National Theatre on Friday, September 26, at 8.00pm while the second show comes off at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, September 27, at 8.00pm.
The show then moves to Oseikrom for a night at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Friday, October 3.
The event is expected to see one of the biggest gathering of stars fighting HIV-AIDS and Promoting Peace.
Artistes, both local and international, expected to thrill Ghanaians include Terry Bonchaka, Sharon Stone, Lord Kenya, Kwaadei, Don Single, Obrafuor, VIP, Batman, Korkorvelie, K.K. Fosu, Buk Bak, Abeiku Santana, Obuor, Sidney Tiny, Tic, Slim Buster and guess what, BigBrother Africa housemates, Bruna from Angola and Ghana's Sammi will feature live on stage.
If you only saw them on stage, then, believe this, Nigerian movie sensational "Kids", Aki and Porpo, will be here in Ghana to support the show.
WAFA&P 2003 is an entertainment programme that is geared towards bringing talented Africans in music, Poetry, Stand up comedy, into a package that will address some social problems and issues that confront the sub-region.
This year, WAFA& P 2003 has chosen to address the issue of HIV/AIDS & PEACE in the sub region.
The programme is targeted to attract people of all ages particularly between 18 and 55 years and attract over 100,000 patrons for the three shows.
It is significant to note that about 65 percent of the target group have a special liking for the Nigerian movie 'kids' and will be there to see them. One cannot emphasise the number of people who were glued to their television sets to watch BigBrother and will by all means be there to catch a glimpse of the invited housemates.
