Wanlov and Gibril release joint album, 'Rapskallyonz'

Gibril Mansaray, best known by his stage name “GIBRIL” is an American rapper who currently lives in Brooklyn, is here with his 2nd studio album titled “Rapskallyonz”.

The project is a joint album named after the hip-hop duo group formed by Gibril and Ghana’s Afro-gypsy sensation Wanlov. Gibril introduces his alter-ego under the alias “boundless” the second half of the Rapskallyonz.

Wanlov and Gibril started the group, Rapskallyonz in 2004 so the album comes out in their 10thyear-annivesarycelebration.

Gibril’s first studio album “27? was released on December 17, 2013, by his indie label FOREIGN EXCHANGE records.

This Album was recorded in Texas, Mississippi and New York.

Wanlov is also well known for his unique style of music and membership of the ‘FOKN Bois’ group. The album is definitely a must have rap album full of samples, and classic hip hop production.

The album has 16 amazing songs, such as Kings, Ladies Don’t fight, Tears, Gbuntwii and many more.”Rally on” showcases their lyrical ability to trades bars flawlessly and ‘Burn Babylon ‘addresses police irruption and brutality in America.

Hip hop producer Coptic contributes to the album by producing “Black Diamonds” a club banger, and the only track that features Wanlov and GIBRIL rapping in Pidgin English (a local West Africa Dialect).

On “Freestyle” Gibril and Wanlov battle each other, showcasing their rhyming and battle skills. Trouble and Boya Dunn are also featured as guest artists on this brilliant album.
