Following the demise of the late gospel musician Maame Tiwaa, a video capturing her last public appearance has resurfaced on the internet.

In the video, shared on social media on December 8, 2025, the late musician, known for her angelic voice, was seen at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic concert in Kumasi.

In the footage, Maame Tiwaa appeared energetic as she explained her reason for attending the concert.

According to her, she was present at the Rapperholic concert because of her admiration for Sarkodie.

“Yaw Sarpong and I love Sarkodie, and we both have a song together. I am here because Yaw Sarpong asked me to come and support him,” she said.

The late Maame Tiwaa also expressed her love for Shatta Wale’s music, revealing that they had been planning a collaboration until singer Yaw Sarpong became ill.

“I want to meet Shatta Wale because I like him too… He once told us that since Yaw Sarpong has a song with Sarkodie, he would also want us to have a song together. We were expecting that to happen; that was when he fell sick,” she added.

The late Maame Tiwaa was known for her longstanding relationship with Yaw Sarpong and the Asomafo Band.

Renowned for her angelic voice, Maame Tiwaa featured on numerous songs, including "Tenabea Foforo", "Yen Nka Nkyere Yen Agya", and "Sumenaso", among others.

Following her demise, netizens have taken to social media to express their grief and, particularly, to commiserate with Yaw Sarpong over the huge loss.

Meanwhile, the family is yet to release an official statement regarding her passing.
