Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh
The running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO showcased his dancing skills on a campaign platform.
In a video shared on Instagram by Thosecalledcelebss, NAPO, dressed in a pair of joggers, was seen dancing to King Paluta’s hit song ‘Makoma’ before addressing the crowd.
Holding a microphone, he moved his hands and body to entertain the enthusiastic supporters gathered for the NPP rally.
The NPP has frequently used the song during their campaign events.
A previous video of King Paluta singing ‘Makoma’ with Dr. Bawumia on a bus sparked criticism of the artiste.
However, King Paluta later clarified that he does not support the NPP or endorse Dr. Bawumia, defending his actions as harmless.
As the NPP continues its campaign for the 2024 general elections, they will face off against the NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama and other candidates.
The elections are scheduled for December 7, 2024.
