Nana Ama McBrown is a Ghanaian actress
A hilarious moment unfolded as actress Nana Ama McBrown, who was hosting an outdoor Kivo event, realised that Ghana’s Black Stars were being “humiliated” in a friendly match ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
In a video shared on Onua TV’s social media pages, Nana Ama, while MCing on March 27, 2026, suddenly picked up on the reaction from the crowd during the live Ghana versus Austria game.
She paused to ask whether Ghana had conceded again.
When she was informed that Austria had scored once more, the actress reacted instantly, letting out a loud “eii” in shock.

She quickly shifted gears, encouraging the audience not to lose hope, and led them in chants of “Osheyy Ghana” to rally support behind the team.
Ghana’s build-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup suffered a setback following a 5-1 loss to Austria in an international friendly in Vienna.
At the Ernst Happel Stadium, the Black Stars were clearly outplayed, with Otto Addo’s team struggling to match the pace of their European opponents.
The coach made some bold selection decisions, starting Lawrence Ati-Zigi in goal, with Thomas Partey partnering Kwasi Sibo in midfield. Up front, Jordan Ayew, Antoine Semenyo, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku led the attack.
