Watch how Samini thrilled Ghana Football Awards audience with a remarkable live band performance

Legendary Ghanaian musician Emmanuel Andrews Samini, known by his stage name Samini, lit up the 2024 Ghana Football Awards with a thrilling performance at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

The Reggae-Dancehall artist electrified the arena with a live band, performing some of his monster hits, including "Obaa" and "My Own."

He got the audience off their seats with a commanding performance as they sang along to his songs

The exciting event honoured the remarkable achievements and contributions of football players, coaches, administrators, and other key stakeholders in Ghana.

West Ham United and Black Stars talisman, Mohammed Kudus, won the biggest prize, picking up the Footballer of the Year Award for the second consecutive year.

Kudus achieved a double on the night, winning the Goal of the Year Award for his magnificent solo goal against Freiburg.

Jennifer Kankam Yeboah, a striker for ZED FC in Egypt, claimed the Female Footballer of the Year.

Smartex swept the most awards on the night, winning Club of the Year, Men's Home-Based Footballer of the Year, and Men's Coach of the Year.

Emmanuel Keyekeh, who led the Timber lads to win the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League, was named Home-Based Footballer of the Year, while the club's manager, Nurudeen Amadu, was crowned Men's Coach of the Year.

Other notable winners include Yusif Basigi, Abdul Aziz Issah, and Mukarama Abdulai, while the Ghana Amputee Football team and Black Queens legend Adwoa Bayor were credited with Awards.
