A viral video of Sharaf Mahama, the son of former president and presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, dancing and performing at a concert with singer OliveTheBoy has set social media ablaze.
In the said video, the son of John Dramani Mahama was captured on stage with OliveTheBoy at an unidentified concert performing his hit single, ‘Asylum’.
Sharaf Mahama was captured singing the chorus of the song and unleashing what internet users described as ‘Dbee’ dance moves.
‘Dbee’ is a local term used to refer to the child of a wealthy person.
Sharaf Mahama, in the last few years, has been in the spotlight for varying reasons.
He has been seen on several occasions accompanying his father, John Dramani Mahama, on campaign trails.
He has been engaged in most civil protests and has been contributing to and participating in major religious activities.
Although some netizens admired him for his dance moves and for associating with the youth, others viewed his appearance on stage as a political antic to garner votes for his father.
