Nhyira Marfo passed away on August 7, 2024
Contemporary Ghanaian gospel music group, Team Eternity, has released an official press statement on the demise of one of its lead singers, Nhyira Marfo.
News of Nhyira’s death was received with shock on social media with the outpour of tributes from sympathisers and the Ghanaian gospel fraternity.
Although the cause of death is unknown, Nyhira was said to have passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
A day after the unfortunate news, Team Eternity issued a press statement expressing its sentiments.
The ‘Defe Defe’ hitmakers also asked the general public to keep them and the bereaved family in their prayers.
“On Wednesday, 7th August 2024, we received news of the sudden passing of our friend and sister, Nhyira Marfo.
“Grief-stricken and heartbroken as we are, yet we turn to the Lord from Whom all comfort flows. We trust in Him Who knows the end from the beginning and take refuge in his promise that, ‘…surely I am with you always, to the very end of age.” (Matthew 28:20),” parts of the statement read.
