Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah, better known as LilWin, has recently divulged updates regarding his ongoing legal tussle with fellow actress Martha Ankomah.

He revealed that they have appeared in court on two occasions, aiming for a peaceful resolution through legal mediation.

LilWin expressed hope for a positive outcome, indicating that the proceedings are moving in a direction that suggests a swift resolution.

He also mentioned that both parties have agreed to a court-sanctioned confidentiality clause, preventing media coverage of the case, which explains the lack of public discourse on the matter.

In a video shared by Express GH TV on YouTube and observed by GhanaWeb, LilWin disclosed his intention to cast Martha in an upcoming film, citing his respect for her talent.

"We've attended two court sessions. The details are kept from the public eye, as we've consented to take action against any blogger who discloses information about the case.

"The path to settling this dispute looks promising. Martha's acting prowess is something I truly respect. Post-resolution, I plan to involve her in my next film endeavor. I'll personally discuss the script with her and will share her decision with everyone," he stated.

It can be recalled that Martha Ankomah initiated legal action against LilWin, accusing him of tarnishing her image following his public outburst on social media.

In her legal claim, she contends that LilWin's statements were defamatory, spread with ill intent, and significantly damaged her reputation among discerning members of the Ghanaian community.

She is seeking restitution, amounting to 5 million Ghana cedis, for the reputational harm she has suffered due to the actor's remarks.

Background:
