On her Sankwas track released on Tuesday, the hook goes like “Opposition want bury we. Them no know say we dey chew weed”. With the line suggesting that she smokes weed, Kaakie has com out to defend herself.

In a new post on IG, here’s what she had to say;

“Weed Chewing is a metaphor. It’s deeper than you see it. Burry weed in the ground and it will grow out.” The more you do, the more I survive.” #Sankwas.”

We guess what she’s trying to say is that the weed mentioned doesn’t mean the actual thing, but a comparison of her career to weed, which when buried in the ground, will surely germinate and grow out into a mature plant.

But let's cast out minds back in time. This is not the first time she has had an issue with weed.

Weed chewing is a metaphor . It's deeper than you see it. Burry weed in the ground and it will grow out." The more you do, the more I survive." #Sankwas.

Back in March this year, she lighted and smoked an object which many described as a weed on stage, during the Pulse TurnUp Concert.
