Highlife musician Kidi known in real life as Dennis Nana Dwamena has responded to the alleged snub by Wendy Shay at the 2019 VGMA event.
Kidi has finally made comments relating to the popular video that captured singer Wendy Shay acting 'rude' towards him.
According to the 'Thunder' hitmaker, he did not find the video insulting as many people had viewed it.
In an interview sighted by YEN.com.gh, Kidi expressed his sentiments about the video capturing him and Wendy Shay.
After the host asked him what happened between him and Wendy Shay, Kidi replied "nothing happened.
I saw the video and it was funny." The Lynx Entertainment artiste disclosed that he laughed about the video when he saw it trending on social media.
"When the video went viral, the first text I got was from Wendy Shay. She was like Kidi don't mind them, don't listen to them and I was like okay," he added.
Kidi admitted that he heard a lot of stories concerning the incident as many speculated that he was at loggerhead with the 'Uber Driver' hitmaker.
He noted that he was not angry as he said "certain things happen that are misconstrued so she texted me about it and I was fine."
The musician denied trying to kiss the singer as he revealed that he did nothing other than gave her pecks.
Kidi's comment followed a video that went viral after Wendy Shay received her award for winning New Artiste of the Year.
In the video, the Rufftown Records artiste made a facial expression that seemed like she had a problem with Kidi.
The incident occurred when Kidi was about to present the New Artiste of the Year award to Wendy Shay.
It is however surprising that Wendy Shay has faced similar ordeal at the peace press conference when Kelvynboy allegedly snubbed her.
