Ghanaian Gospel musician Joyce Blessing has shared her vision for the country if she were president for a day.
In an interview with Onua FM on September 19, 2024, Joyce Blessing said she would address the poor state of roads and the transport sector.
“I move around a lot and I'm tired of driving around. You move from one place to another and you and the car are tired. So I would fix the roads and the transport sector,” she said.
Blessing also pointed out the urgent need for job creation for the youth who she described as “hardworking.”
“I've also seen that Ghanaians need jobs; I know that we work very hard so jobs are needed,” she said.
She added that she would make efforts to address basic necessities to improve the quality of life for Ghanaians.
“I will also work on things like water, electricity, and good roads, reduced prices on goods and services,” she said.
Despite these challenges, Blessing expressed her deep love for Ghana, mentioning that she often feels homesick when travelling abroad because she misses home.~
