Artiste and record producer, Willi Roi is wondering what warranted a song from M.anifest directed at Sarkodie when ‘bossy’, a track by Sarkodie believed to have sparked the controversy was not meant for him.
Speaking on Pluzz FM’s AM Pluzz, Willi Roi who has produced songs for highlife musicians including Nana Acheampong and Kaakyire Kwame Appiah said Sarkodie only mentioned M.anifest at the latter part of ‘bossy’ just to big him up but was misinterpreted and subsequently influenced M.anifest’s ‘god MC’ song.
He further intimated that M.anifest comes nowhere close to Sarkodie when it comes to rapping prowess adding that “M.anifest is a beginner”.
Sarkodie hit back at M.anifest with ‘Kanta’ after the latter released ‘god MC’ believed by some music lovers to be directed at the former.
The beef has led to a buzz on social media platforms with fans of the two rappers defending the lyrics of their respective artistes and punching holes into the oppone
