Controversial musician A Plus has condemned the barbaric act by some residents of Denkyira Obuasi for mistakenly lynching an army captain whom they perceived to be a suspected armed robber.
According to the musician, some people are speculating that the army captain was killed because he was purportedly protecting some Chinese Galamsey operators.
The obliviously peeved musician thus question this act of lawlessness asking when the legislators of the country okayed mob justice, even if one (in this case the army captain) was guilty of a crime. "Since when was a law passed to allow persons to kill suspected criminals".
"Some people claim he was guarding Chinese galamsey operators that is why he was killed. Let’s say it is even true. When was that law that allows you to kill criminals passed?”
“If you have been able to overpower a "suspected criminal" why don't you hand him over to the police? Oh Ghana!!! Very sad” he wrote
The music personality shared the link on his Facebook account.
