BY MAY 1, the whole world will ascertain who will emerge winners at this year?s Ghana Music Awards. A number of the artistes have gotten the highest number of nominations, which stand at five.
Those topping the nominations list with five are TicTac, Obour, Mad Fish, Batman, Kweku Gyasi and Lady Prempeh.
The Nomination Committee of the Ghana Music Awards released the list of the various categories.
Following its tradition to discourage the use of indecent lyrics in music, it disqualified two songs nominated for particular award categories. Writes Van-Noah Soul Addey, NjoyOnline.com
The songs are ?Awoso me? by Mzbel, and ?Linda? by Batman, but the third song ?Konkontibaa? by Obour, was given a clean slate when he was invited to explain his message in Konkontibaa to the Nomination Committee.
