After 13 weeks of telling television viewers about the various projects they have initiated to benefit folks in their various communities through the MTN Heroes of Change II series, the 10 finalists and the rest of the world would tonight, February 19 know who walks away with the ultimate prize.

Scheduled for 6.30pm at the Accra International Conference Centre, the programme will be spiced with entertainment from Steve Bedi, Becca, Kwabena Kwabena, the El Dunamis Choir and Abena, first runner-up at last year’s MTN Hit-Maker talent contest.

The MTN Heroes of Change finalists have been judged on how their various initiatives in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment are impacting the lives of the intended beneficiaries.

An independent panel of judges will select three category winners and an ultimate 2015 MTN Hero of Change tonight. The ultimate winner will receive project support of GH¢100, 000.00 while each of the category winners will receive GH¢20,000. The other seven finalists will receive GH¢5,000.

The 10 personalities in contention for the prizes are Dr. Emmanuel Bidzaikii, Nakpanduri (Northern Region); Isaac Adjaottor, Ada Foah (Greater Accra); Emmanuel Quartey, James Town (Greater Accra); Nayina Karim, Karaga (Northern Region) and Nicholas Kuma, Bolgatanga (Upper East).

The rest are Pastor Joseph Jehu-Appiah, Apam (Central Region); Paul Semeh, James Town (Greater Accra); Paulina Opei, Anwia Nkwanta (Ashanti Region) and Salome Francois, Cantonments (Greater Accra).

They made it to the final event out of over 1000 nominations received from around the country by the MTN Ghana Foundation which is the force behind the programme.
