Reunited Highlife/Reggae duo Wutah, whose spilt in 2009 caused a lot of controversies in the music industry has disclosed in a recent interview that they do not remember the cause of their split.
The group’s debut album ‘Anamantuo’, with songs like ‘Adonko’, ‘Goosy Gander’ and ‘Big Dreams’ earned them eleven nominations at the Ghana Music Awards, after chalking up some success they went their separate ways in 2009 due to rumored bickering between them.
Wutah in an interview with Abeiku Turkson on TV Africa’s SHOWBIZ AND MORE had this to say concerning the cause of their separation.
'We don’t remember why we spilt, the good news is that we are back and we have to concentrate on our union, that is how we will grow, we won’t move forward if we dwell on the past.'
“Our spilt was meant to happen and we have learnt a lot through our separation, us going our separate ways thought us a lot and our contribution together would make our career whole”.
They added Wutah had their first comeback performance over eight years of being apart at the wedding of Harey Adjoa Yeboah-Asuama (Ohemaa Woyeje), of Adom FM and Emmanuel Yaw Owusu Kusi.
