Why remain so long in an amorous relationship instead of getting married? – Iona Reine wonders

Ghanaian musician, Iona Reine, has emphasised on the need for couples to not waste too much time but tie the knot when they get to know each other very well.

According to her, she finds it difficult to understand why some people remain in an amorous relationship for a prolonged period without putting plans in place to marry.

She noted that such relationships lead individuals to participate in things that are not in alignment with the will of God.

Speaking in an interview with Zionfelix which was monitored by GhanaWeb, Iona fumed about the high rate at which individuals are comfortable with normal relationships without prioritising marriage.

“The reason people are afraid to enter marriage is because they fear their partners may not be the right person God wants them to marry. But once you know the person, why would you remain in an amorous relationship and do things which do not please God? The next thing is to marry,” she said.

Iona made the statement while commenting on why it did not take long for her to marry again following an initial divorce.

The songstress is currently married to Pastor Okrah.
