The family of late Willie Roi has debunked reports that its beloved may have died of suicide.
Speaking to GhanaWeb off camera, some family members said they suspect Willie Roi died through heart failure.
Roi who was Zylofon Media artists and repertoire manager died on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at his apartment at East Legon, Accra with blood oozing from his mouth and noise.
His body has been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue in Accra for autopsy.
The deceased, according to his family was sometimes a difficult person to deal with but was never a bad person. Adding that, he was a free-spirited man who loved to encourage the youth in their endeavors.
Willie Roy, who had about 40 years’ experience in the showbiz industry was a musician, songwriter, producer and an outspoken pundit on Showbiz Agenda, a morning show on Zylofon.
He also worked with African music legends including Femi Kuti, Sunny Ade, Sunny Okussuns and Daddy Lumba and groomed talents on the Zylofon Arts Club.
