Celebrated gospel musician Joe Mettle has revealed the secret behind his humility.

According to the artiste, he has always been calm in his daily activities but winning the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards really had a positive impact on his life.

In an interview with 3FM’s MzGee, the “Owanwani” singer explained that winning some enviable accolades can lead an individual to be boastful or develop pride but the narrative is different with his success story.

Touching on his “Wind of Revival” album, the artiste conceded he has not done much to promote the album, however, he is set to throng media houses and other online portals to properly promote the spirit-filled album.

Not long ago, the gosple musician was in the news for questioning the VGMAs board's decision to exclude his fellow musicians, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy from this year’s event.

"I think both artistes have been able to come together to fix their differences and I’m sure whatever was between them is fine now. I think when they were banned, the organizers weren’t sure the artistes could fix this and I think the ban helped in pushing them into the direction they’ve been able to get to.” Joe Mettle stated on TV3’s New Day.
