It is easy to tell by her appearance and overall direction in music from where singer Wiyaala draws inspiration.
One of them is legendary African songstress Yvonne Chaka Chaka, whose songs “I’m Burning Up”, “Thank You Mister DJ”, “I Cry for Freedom”, “Makoti”, “Motherland” and “Umqombothi” have been popular anthems on the continent for decades.
Come September 24, Wiyaala, who is among Ghana’s most viable music exports, gets to alongside her idol at the annual African Legends Night organized by Global Media Alliance, which the South African star is scheduled to headline
