A woman has admitted defrauding people out of nearly £3,000 by selling fake Taylor Swift tickets for the superstar's much anticipated Eras Tour.

Amy Rees, 38, of Nantymoel, Bridgend appeared at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on February 16, 2026, accused of fraud against 12 people, adding up to more than £2,800.

The court heard the offences took place between September 2023 and June 2024. The biggest amount defrauded against a single person was £623.

Rees spoke only to confirm her name, age and address and then repeated "guilty" after each of the 12 charges were put to her.

Rees's defence solicitor said she was of "prior clean character" and the court ordered a pre-sentence report to be drawn up before sentencing.

She was granted unconditional bail and a provisional date for sentencing has been set for 10 March at Cardiff Magistrates court.

Swift played Cardiff's Principality Stadium in June 2024 as part of her 21-month long Eras tour which visited 50 cities.

Tickets were in high demand with fans desperate to get hold of tickets with some being sold on resale sites for thousands.
