Woman on the run for biting co-tenant's eyebrow

Accra, Aug. 27, GNA- An Accra Circuit Court has issued a warrant for Tawiah Lamptey, a Chokor-based petty trader, who is on the run after biting the eyebrows of her co-tenant in a quarrel. Lamptey has refused to appear before the Court presided over by Mr Williewise Kyeremeh on charges of intentionally and unlawfully causing harm to Miss Mercy Otoo.

The prosecution said the accused, who had a misunderstanding with the complainant attacked her in her room and in the process bit the eyebrow and took to her heels.

Lamptey who left her victim bleeding lodged a complaint with the Chorkor Police Station against Otoo. The complainant later reported the incident at the same Police Station.

Lamptey made another complaint at the Korle-Bu Police Station where she was provided with a medical form. She was subsequently redirected to submit the medical report at the Chorkor Police Station on her return to the Korle-Bu Police Station where she was arrested. 27 Aug. 04
