Women should stand against domestic volience - Caroline Sampson

Radio and television personality, entrepreneur and mother of one, Caroline Sampson has called on women to stand against Domestic Violence.

She said this while co – hosting Celebrity Fan Zone with Jessica and Akosua on Viasat 1.

On the show, the panels were discussing a recent incident of domestic violence in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra which led to the death of the woman.

According to reports, the woman had been receiving beatings from her husband for many years yet kept silent because she was protecting her children.

“I think women should be able to fight this domestic violence, this should not be acceptable in our society. Women need to be respected and loved and not to be used as punch bags.”
