Many doubted the future of their love but long time lovers, Sulley Muntari and Menaye Donkor proved their love for each other in one of the most anticipated ceremonies in Ghana last December when the Sunderland football star and the former beauty queen had their traditional Muslim marriage ceremony.
The couple, both looking stunning and delightful in traditional attire, proved not only their love for each other but also that it is possible for a Muslim and a Christian to fall in love and express their love for each other in marriage. The ceremony held in the home of Menaya’s mother in Accra, was a very private affair that saw the families from both sides in attendance.
The traditional ceremony was followed by dinner at a private Italian restaurant in Accra where the couple were both spotted in ravishing Dolce & Gabbana. Menaye wore a thigh-high, body hugging golden gown while Sulley wore a classic black jacket over a white shirt. Guests at the dinner included family and celebrity friends like Stephen Appiah, Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari, Ama K Abebrese, Tony Baffoe, Baffour Gyan and others.
