Every child in Ghana and of course, all around the world can boast of his mother’s food without a pinch of salt and so can a husband lick his fingers after dinning to a delicious meal from his wife made from a pot with the right ingredients.

But how well do you know the food you consume on a daily basis, either prepared at home or along the shoulders of the street?

As we mark today as World Food Day, Ghana's leading food seasoning product, ONGA puts some Ghanaians to the test to find out how well they are abreast with their local delicacies across the various regions in the country.

The World’s Longest Feast Table record setter in honor of the date made a first stop at Accra’s largest fishing community, JamesTown to quiz some women in the community on the their Traditional foods in a random selection.

World Food Day is celebrated every year around the world on 16 October in honor of the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945.

The day is widely celebrated by many other organisations concerned with food security, including the World Food Programme and the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
