Xandy Kamel has narrated an incident involving a confrontation with a ride-hailing app (Yango) driver.

In a viral video spotted on December 12, 2024, the actress cum socialite explained that she had ordered a Yango ride, but the driver unexpectedly changed her route without informing her.

She highlighted that when she requested the driver to end the trip, he threatened to beat her.

Xandy explained that all of this unfolded while she was live on TikTok.

She said that after noticing that her fans were reacting to the situation, the driver halted the trip, parked the car, and asked for payment, despite not even being halfway to her destination.

When she refused to pay, Xandy said the driver rushed at her.

"I requested a Yango ride to Adenta KFC, but on our way, the driver took a different route. I asked him why, and he told me he had another route in mind, but he hadn’t informed me before changing it. I asked him to stick to the usual route, but he refused, saying he would still get me to my destination and that I should 'shut up.' While we were having this conversation, I was live on TikTok, so the people who joined my live saw everything that happened," she narrated.

Xandy added, "Because the driver refused, the conversation became heated, so I asked him to park so I could get out. But he refused and got really angry. When he heard people on my live saying they were recording what was happening, he finally parked the car and demanded that I pay. I told him I wasn’t going to pay since he hadn’t taken me to my destination."

"He threatened to beat me because I said I wouldn't pay for not taking me to my destination using the right route. This driver started calling me names, but I thank God there were people around who witnessed what happened and intervened.”

Xandy Kamel also said the driver threatened to "deal with her" if she posted videos of him on social media.

"I have posted the car's number plate on my socials, and I will post it again. You all need to be aware of this driver because he is dangerous and could hurt someone. He’s also rude and arrogant. He’s sent me messages threatening to deal with me if I post his videos. So if anything happens to me, hold the driver accountable," she said.
