Yaa Pono thrills UCC Friday night

Rapper and Uptown Energy frontman Yaa Pono, is set to perform Friday November 18th at the University of Caper Coast’s Fun Night event.

Put together by the University’s Student Representative Council, the show will see the talented rapper dish out his very many very popular covers as well as his witty covers of other songs. He’s also sure to engage in his trademark freestyle sessions.

Yaa Pono has been involved in the music industry since 1997, but perhaps got his big break signing for Panji Anorf’s Pidgen Music in 2009. He’s perhaps most known for songs like Shopping Mall, Tare Tare, and Amen. He has been associated with such acts as Sarkodie, Efya, Dark Suburb, and Stonebwoy.
