Yasmeen Helwani to unveil new album with huge party

Yasmeen Helwani, musician and daughter of legendary producer, Faisal Helwani is promising ‘ever green’ music as she prepares to release her latest album.

The album is titled, Yasmeen; Music Messenger and will be released later this month. But before that there will be a pre – order and signing sessions with her fans, and also an arranged huge release party on May 27 at the Helwani Mansion behind the Fiesta Royal at the Dzorwulu Junction in Accra.

The Yasmeen: Music Messenger album has ten (10) interesting and soothing tracks all written and composed by Yasmeen, to be published by the Green Butterfly and Bibini Music, her late father’s music company, she now heads.

Songs on the album are must listen to songs. Some of them included Yellow Moon, Any Justice, Medication, Memory Lane, Propaganda, Suola, Paddy and Angel of Light.

Yasmeen is currently the torchbearer of the Helwani’s music business. Months ago she promised to continue from where her father left and it is obvious the release of her upcoming album is to reaffirm the Helwani family’s position in Ghana’s music industry.
