Vikki born some thirty years ago in Kumasi, Ghana, describes herself as a lively, single Christian woman in her mid-thirties.
Her love for music led her to sing since the age of eleven while she was at University Primary School and later at St Louis Secondary School all in Kumasi. She continued singing when she gave her life to the Lord and became a member of the Voices of Faith, the church choir of the House of Faith Ministries in Accra and Kumasi.
She later took up choir directing when she was called upon to lead the Anointed Juveniles Choir at the House of Faith Ministries in Kumasi and the Voice of Faith Choir in Sunyani. Vikki is currently the Director of music for the Levites (the Twi-singing choir) of the South London based Trinity Baptist Church in the UK.
After backup singing with various Ghanaian Gospel artistes, Vikki is now out with her debut album, ?Yehowa? which has a total of ten (10) tracks on it.
Vikki Says ?These songs came to me as a result of various experiences in life, both good and bad. The song Mmere pa mu was birthed at a distressing period life during which I hit an all-time low. However, I trusted in God and drew strength from Him and in due time He brought the needed relief.
While I was rejoicing in the Lord in the aftermath, I received inspiration for the song Yehowa which also happens to be the title track for this album.
Each song on this album has its own story and I pray that people will draw encouragement and strength from them because the Lord God Jehovah who is the subject matter for the songs has been tried, tested and found faithful in deed. Be blessed as you listen to them?!
Vikki is currently preparing for her next album, which will be out soon, God willing!
