‘You called first’ - Chief Stylz challenges Angel Town over Rapperholic, BHIMFest booking

Chief Stylz, the manager of Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, has debunked allegations made by Angel Town, who is the manager of Sarkodie, following a private message the latter shared on social media.

In a post shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on September 11, 2026, Chief Stylz debunked claims made by Angel Town, who shared a private chat alleging that Stonebwoy’s camp was the first to book Sarkodie for the artiste’s BHIMFest in 2025.

In the post, Chief Stylz described the WhatsApp chats shared by Angel Town as false, adding that the latter was the first to reach out to him to request Stonebwoy’s performance at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic concert.

He explained that the chat screenshot Angel Town shared on X, claiming that he (Chief Stylz) was the first to book Sarkodie for Stonebwoy’s concert, was a follow-up to a phone conversation they had earlier.

“In any case, Angelo, you and I know very well that you called first to request that Stone come for Rapperholic and Sark do the same for BHIMFEST.

“The chat in the screenshot was a follow-up to our earlier phone conversation,” he said.

Stonebwoy drops final response to Sarkodie

Chief Stylz additionally advised Angel Town to refrain from involving himself in the banter between the two artistes.

According to him, as an artiste manager, Angel Town’s focus should solely be on promoting the artiste, adding that the artistes should be allowed to pour out their feelings when necessary.

“It’s show business, and it doesn’t help when mgt tries to get involved when the artistes are venting their feelings – let alone call Stone a liar over a factual statement,” he added.
