Ghanaian musician Lord Paper has expressed grave concerns about his treatment under his former record label boss, Auzy Media.
In an Instagram post, the "Dzigbordi" hitmaker accused his former manager of robbing him of his earnings.
Lord Paper has claimed that whenever he tries to speak out, he receives death threats from him.
"You guys should be careful who you work with, bloodsuckers. Are you not tired of robbing me? Then you threaten me as if my death would improve your life. I’m fed up. Nana, I won’t spill anything more, greedy man," he wrote.
Lord Paper also alleged that he used his own money to fund his songs while with Auzy Media, stating that his former boss wastes the talents of young artistes he signs.
"Everyone run because you weren't doing anything, you sign them to waste their time and talents, and other backstabbing moves an adult shouldn't do! I used my own money to push myself and gave you credit, you still don't appreciate" he added.
In the same Instagram post, Lord Paper shared a voice recording of rapper Medikal advising him to speak to his former manager.
"You see they don't even mention the name of Lord Paper's manager because it is not good for the brand. Tell your manager that he is tarnishing the brand we worked hard for," the voice, purported to be Medikal's, stated.
Lord Paper gained prominence in 2019 with the hit song "Dzigbordi," released under Auzy Media, which currently has over 633,000 views on YouTube.
