Ewurama Dua Anto, the wife of the late celebrated gospel singer KODA, paid an emotional tribute to her husband, at his funeral.

In her tribute, Ewurama reminisced about the cherished memories they shared and highlighted KODA's unwavering love and care for their children.

“I will always bless the day I met you. We experienced both joyful and challenging moments that forged a bond between us that words cannot fully express,” she said. “You were the best husband any wife could pray for and the best father any child could wish for. You were a good man, sweetheart, and I am forever grateful to God for bringing you into my life,” she stated.

Ewurama also expressed her confidence in her husband’s “excellent service to God,” believing that his passing would lead to “more souls being won” to Christ, as KODA’s focus was always on faith.

“As believers, we rejoice in the fact that you are alive in heaven. Praise be to Jesus, who died to give us eternal life, knowing that one day we will all be reunited. Until we meet again, sweetheart, we will miss you,” she continued.

“I find comfort in the hope that we will see your walk, your talk, and your smile once more. Rest in perfect peace, my love,” Ewurama concluded.

KODA was laid to rest on Friday, September 20, in a solemn ceremony at the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in Spintex, Accra.

The burial service drew numerous gospel musicians, including Joe Mettle, Nacee, Elder Mireku, Sonnie Badu, and Diana Hamilton, all gathered to honor their beloved brother.
