Prior to the emergence of Zylofon Media in Ghana Music Industry, most Ghanaian artistes thought of hanging up their microphone because of insufficient finance to push their craft.

In the process, Zylofon Media came to the rescue of such artistes especially Kumi Guitar, Obibini, et al.

Zylofon Media came into Ghana Music Industry to offer financial support to artistes especially their signed acts. Namely, Kumi Guitar, Obibini, Becca, Stonebwoy, Joyce Blessing, Shatta Wale, Zynell Zuh, Benedicta Gafah, James Gardner, others.

Now, the argument was that these artistes and many others needed financial assistance in order to uplift their craft to the zenith level and perhaps put Ghana on the map accordingly.

However, in the voice of Afia Schwarzenegger, regardless of the cash at Zylofon Media/Music disposal, most of their signees are flopping drastically all other things being equal.

According to the controversial television personality citing Joyce Blessing as a case study, the one time biggest gospel artiste in Ghana is now struggling to be heard after parting ways with Media Excel to join Zylofon Media/Music.

She goes on to talk about Rebecca Acheampong affectionately called Becca as one artiste who’s fast retrogressing after joining Zylofon Media/Music. Afia Schwarzenegger goes on to cite Becca’s “Unveiling” Album which was launched somewhere 2017. To her, despite all the flashy that accompanied the album launch, there’s no single song of the album that’s making any significant impact on the waves.

Afia Schwarzenegger again posited in a video that, most of the Zylofon Media promise to their signed acts are fake which are meant for social media likes and comments. Citing Kumi Guitar as a case study, Afia Schwarzenegger revealed that Kumi Guitar was never given a house as promised by Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Zylofon Media.
