Host of Zylofon 102.1 FM´s morning show, Sammy Flex led a delegation from Zylofon Media to commiserate with the family of the late entertainment doyen Nana Turkson, whose sadden death occurred last Tuesday 7th August, 2018 at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital in Accra.
The late Turkson, christened Bertrand, had been battling with diabetes for some time now, hence when leaving immediately after Monday´s edition of the Showbiz Agenda, complaining of not feeling too well and telling his colleague panelists that they will see him on Wednesday(today), news of his demise came as a nonplus to the team and the entire Zylofon FM staff.
The affable, humble and intelligent Nana T or King, as he was affectionately called, wowed all with the dexterity in his submissions on every entertainment show he appeared, hence he made lots of friends among the listening public.
The late Nana T was also a regular on many a popular entertainment shows on both radio and television notably Zylofon Fm´s Showbiz Agenda Showbiz Agenda and A-Z Rythmz on Joy FM. He authored the Success Journal, and also served on the boards of many award schemes of the showbiz industry.
Sammy Flex was accompanied by Socrates Safo (Zylofon Arts Fund), Music Producer Appietus, Massive (Senior producer for the Showbiz Agenda), Highlife ace Dada Hafco, Music Producer Oteng, DJ Cosby (Zylofon FM), Attractive Mustapha, Prof. Mike Yamoah, Master of Ceremonies (MC) extraordinaire Chief Charles, Empress Neeta, Facebook Dzata, etc.
Notable among the visitors was popular reggae artiste Dr. Knii Lante, who is managed by the management team which the late Nana T, belonged to.
King, left behind a wife and three daughters.
