Zylofon Media may have backed out of the much publicized launch of the Joyce Blessing “Help Me Grow” Foundation scheduled to take place on May 15th at the Akropong School for the Blind which coincides with her birthday and the release of her single Awake which was produced by Ephraim according to a reportage by ATV.
The singer who was at the Akropong School for the Blind is reported to have been there with her team and with no representation or financial assistance from Zylofon media due to high budget according to the report.
The said information of no participation from Zylofon was relayed to the singer and her team by Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, head of communications for Zylofon Music on Monday afternoon, barely 24 hours to the launch to the utter surprise of Joyce and her team.
www.atvgh.com’s reportage went to say, “Artiste and Repertoire Manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog is reported to have informed Joyce’s team that the budget of GHC 32,000 allocated for the event is too huge.
However, the budget in question was said to have been drawn up by Bulldog himself together with Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, Dave Joy_(Artiste Manager), Nii Armah_(Events Manager) and Julie Jay_(Personal Assistant to Joyce) so it is baffling to Joyce and her team why he has suddenly been realized it to be too much.
Joyce Blessing celebrated her birthday at the Akropong School for the Deaf with her team for the launch of her “Help Me Grow” Foundation with no support from her record label.
The launch also coincided with the release of her new single titled “Awake”.”
