Zylofon Media over the week has launched what seems to be the very first all arts club in Ghana at its headquarters in Accra.
The Ghana Arts Club is purposed to train, groom and give professional help and career advice to the youngsters in the art or the entertainment industry. Members of the club are entitled to enjoy all the facilities Zylofon Media owns upon successful registration at an amount of ¢600.00.
The club currently has three categories which are music, modeling and movie and they are to be headed by accomplished music producer Willi Roi, experienced model and fitness coach Joshua Ansah and renowned actor and film maker Eddie Nartey respectively. These personality have been contracted to give necessary guidelines to members of the club.
Speaking at the launch, Sammy Flex, Public Relation Officer of the Zylofon stated that the company believes in a succession plane which is why the Ghana Arts Club has been formed to groom young talents to take the place of the older generation in the near future. He also stated that forming this association is an indirect investment into the arts and entertainment industry of Ghana.
He finally added that the Ghana Arts Club will serve as a pool of talent where the record label can tap into with ease should there be a need for talent.
Joshua Ansah also asserted that Ghana’s modeling industry is faced with so many structural challenges and this has led to the country not being recognized globally in terms of the art. Joshua was optimistic that Ghana Arts Club will help put structural measures in place to correct the situation.
