Actress Zynnell Zuh is set to premiere her first self-produced movie When Love Comes Around at the Silverbird Cinemas and Westhill mall today at 6:30 and 9:30pm respectively whiles the Weija wing of the cinema shows the movie tomorrow 20th December 2014 same time.
The beautiful actress is the latest to join the likes of Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro, Nadia Buari, Kafui Danku and Lydia Forson, who have screened self-produced movies.
The new movie tells the story of Love, played by Zynnell Lydia Zuh who, because of heartbreak, decides to secure only wealthy men for financial gain; but when love comes calling, Zynnell is torn between following her heart and being guarded to avert a second heartbreak.
With a strong Ghanaian and Pan-African cast, When Love Comes Around is an excellent first time effort from Zynnell Zuh as a producer and a co-writer.
The movie is already tipped to perform well having been nominated for Best Picture, Best Cinematography and Best Script by the Ghana Movie Awards board.
It also earned two nominations for Best Script and Best Overall film of 2014 in Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCAs).
When Love Comes Around was directed by Afe Olumowe, who produced Chelsea and directed the critically acclaimed thriller The Voice.
The movie stars Jim Iyke, Zynnell Zuh, Mikki Osei Berko, Edward Kufuor, Eku Edewor, DJ Pierra Makena and others.
