Theatre cannot re-open on schedule

Accra, June 14, GNA 96 The opening of the National Theatre would be delayed until December 2006 because transformers at an electrical substation serving the theatre have to be upgraded.
A statement Mr Michael Attipoe of the Interim Management Committee of the Theatre signed expressed regret for the change in the schedule and gave the assurance that the public would be informed on the state-of-the-art facility on completion of the rehabilitation exercise.
