Ghana property Awards shifted to September

Accra, Feb. 8, GNA - The Ghana Property Awards, originally scheduled for December, last year, has been postponed to September 1, this year, organisers of the event told the Ghana News Agency on Thursday.

The event is being organised by Property Express Awards Limited in collaboration with the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing, the Ghana Institute of Architects, Ghana Institution of Engineers, Ghana Institution of Surveyors and the Ghana Real Estates Development Association (GREDA).


The awards are aimed at recognizing and rewarding excellence in the general real estate and allied sectors, encourage innovative real estate solutions within the industry, enhance quality standards, and promote confidence in the real estate and property industry. Additionally, the awards are meant to safeguard and strengthen interest of stakeholders in the industry and to provide a strategic platform of interaction for the different stakeholders in the property industry.


The competition has already attracted top-notch companies and individuals in the various categories such as the Proactive Capital Group, Remax Excellence, Property Support Institutions, Regeneration Award, International Property Achievement, and Property Company Awards. The other categories are the Property Newcomer, Upcoming Property Firms, and Innovation Awards, Property Personality Award, Property Entrepreneur Awards, Estates Agents Award, Cement Blocks/Block Firm, Cables Company and Landscaper Awards.

The rest are made up of Property Entrepreneur Award, Estates Agents Award, and Plastics Award categories.
