Blues hot-shot Didier Drogba wants to prove he is more than just a lethal finisher in the six-yard box.
The Ivory Coast striker believes he can cut it as a singer too.
The Chelsea ace has joined his Ghanaian team-mate Michael Essien in recording an anti-racism single.
The video footage of the African duo in the recording studio is featured in Blue Revolution, a documentary on the Stamford Bridge side.
The song, titled 'Skin', by Wills And The Willing, will be launched this month to coincide with Kick Racism Out Of Football week.
Essien and Drogba went into the Air Studios, London last month to add their 'distinctive voices' in a rap style to the track.
All the proceeds from the sale of the single will go to Chelsea's official UK charity partner, CLIC Sargent.
Said Drogba: 'Racism is something very difficult to live with.
'And you think it's improving but every time there's some idiot who doesn't really know what they're talking about.
'It's our decision to fight against this. There's no difference, for me, between black and white.
'And I wanted to do this song because I really love the lyrics. It's very simple but they can touch your heart.'
Wills and the Willing performed the song 'Skin' at the Royal Albert Hall on 23 Sept at a charity function in aid of Africa.
Drogba, meanwhile, used the show to display his singing talents in quite a different manner to rapping.
Performing with former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy's wife Lizzie, he sang Marilyn Monroe's camp classic Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend.
Said Mrs Cundy: 'It is very brave of him. He is opening a clinic in his name on the Ivory Coast to treat orphans with HIV.
'This cause means everything to him.'
Their duet apparently included a dance routine backed by a choir of 3,000 gospel singers.
Now that he has to serve a suspension following his red card against Fulham, Drogba will have more time to improve his voice.
