Stella Addo Launches Sophomore Album

Worcester, Massachussett's finest Ghanaian Gospel sensation; Stella Addo who exploded to stardom with her hit singles; "Yesu Ye Champion" and "Empare me" some years ago is launching her powerful and inspirational sophomore album with the title; "W'ahyira me. She has definitely raise the bar on this album and is set to really impress her fans and build new ones. She was supported on this album by Hip-hop/R&B Gospel star; Steve Kelly.


In a recent phone conversation with 3G discussing the album she said; "when I see what I've been through and how far the lord has brought me, it is nothing but his grace. He is a faithfull God who sees to it that what he's promised comes to pass. In Genesis 12 : 1-3 God told Abraham he will bless him and make his name great, it came to pass. Abraham did not have it easy but at the end he became a blessing. I've been through some tough times but whoever the lord has blessed is always blessed."

A Little Known History Fact

She was discovered by Nana Boateng who helped her to come out with her maiden album entitled;"Yesu Ye Champion", which became a hit with other tracks such as "Empare Me". The album was produced by Kwame Mikey of Kaakyire Music Productions.


In March 2004 she lost her father which was a big blow to her. Since she was a "daddy’s little girl" and the oldest among her siblings, it became apparent that she takes care of her family. A few weeks after her father's sudden death, the Lord opened the way for her to travel to the United States. While in the United States her passion for music continued to grow.


In October 2004, she performed in Gospelfest featuring Prophet Seth Frimpong and Yaw Sarpong. It was organised by AfricanSpice Promotions in Worcester, MA. She has also ministered in various programs and in Churches all over the United States.


A message to her fans "I am coming out with my second album to quench the thirst of my funs who have been anxious for something new. I give all the glory to the most high God for all He has done for me."
