Watch out for Akin and Handt with: Who go fi Challenge God?

Mon, 22 Jun 2009 Source: --

Their real names are Beatrice Amoateng and Doris Banahene but preferred to be called Akin and Handt. The two talented gospel musicians are Ghanaian based abroad who have been in the music industry for four years. Their first album was a massive hit and really enjoyed airplay outside Ghana but since both are Ghanaians decided to make Ghanaians have a feel of them. Their second album who go fi challenge God has 10 hits track some of which are, Winner, Abeye Yie, Ebe ye yie, Mesom Nyame, who go fi challenge God just to mention a few. We know Ghanaians might be wondering, what we have for them, but we want to use this opportunity to tell Ghanaians to hold their peace and have a feel of our second album who go fi challenge God has says Beatrice and Doris. Dianah Asamaoh Esther Asamoah, Christiana Love just to mention a few are our mentos. We believe Ghanaian music can go international just like other African countries that promote their song international. If South Africa can promote their song international in their local dialect I fell Ghanaians can also do same. Pirating is really killing the music industry and I plead with the Government to do something about it because the situation is really getting out of hands.

We have known ourselves since infancy and happen to be cousins. How did you start? We both started singing in church, out doorings, programmes but after realizing the gift God has given us decided to sing to the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. How do you see Gospel music in Ghana? Gospel music is really doing well in Ghana and we believe it can do international, it just a matter of time. What would like to tell Ghanaians? We want to tell Ghanaians to expect the best from us. We are not going to disappoint Ghanaians at all.
