This week, SriBuO Media brings to you Obrafour's sophomore album - Asem Sebe. This track was a big hit during its release and here is a run down of what it has to offer. Album starts our with "Who born you by mistake" produced by Hammer of the Last two featuring Bazaar. Hammer's trademark sound is heard clearly on the track which speaks to the Rap 'Sofour's prowess in the music industry. The next few tracks "Odo" and "Maame" are tributes to two of some of the most important women a man can have in his life - his love, and his mother. Obrafour's lyrical prowess is evident in these tracks which are laced with a strong highlife tune.

"Asem sebe", the title track of the album was interestingly enough, not the most popular song on the album. The Executioner then returns to his cultural roots in the tracks "Me Ye Wo Dia" ( I am yours ) and "Okuku Seku" ( Fear man and not ghosts ). The former has an underlying Adowa sound and the latter is derived from an old Ghanaian proverb about the nature of mankind: inherently evil and so you should watch out and be wary of your fellow man instead of fearing ghosts.

"Twe Wo Ho" is another hit track from the album. It is a story of love and betrayal ... about a woman called Rita who betrayed Obrafour with his best friend. Oh chale "otoo nikuma maa abonsam papa". This track is heavy with Akan proverbs and again we hear the atumpan of Hammer giving the song its heat beat.

Other tracks on this album worthy of mention are "Akwentuni" : the story of expatriates who leave their home for greener pastures. Obrafour is asking you to come back home ... and "Obibini" where Obrafour asks the black man to "Wake Up"!! and better himself.

All in all, this album is a very solid release release from the Rap Sofour and you should go grab your copy now!!
